THE PROJECT INCUBATOR

Turning ideas into learning experiences
In the Project Incubator, Prefix initiates or supports concrete initiatives.
Each project within the incubator is a living experience, carried out with field partners, members of the Prefixia community, or client organisations. Some are fully led by Prefix, while others are co-created with actors committed to meaningful change.
Beyond the expected outcome, each project becomes an experimental ground to:
- Test and refine the tools and methods developed in the Solution Incubator.
 - Offer Prefix community members the opportunity to learn how to manage projects and use steering tools in a real and stimulating context.
 - Support collective initiatives that create meaning and impact.

The project cycle within the incubator
Each project follows the eight stages of Circular Project Management, a method developed by Prefix within its Solution Incubator.
These eight stages are grouped into four main phases of progression:
- Pre-project The idea emerges, its feasibility is analysed, and the most relevant path to implementation is clearly defined.
 - Planning Needs are detailed, tasks and costs are planned, risks are anticipated, and key actors are identified.
 - Execution The project is deployed, planned actions are carried out, tools are adjusted, and learnings are continuously shared.
 - Closure Results are consolidated, lessons learned are formalised and disseminated to extend the impact beyond the project itself.
