Context

Colibrys, now part of Safran, is a Swiss company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-precision inertial microsensors using MEMS technology.

In 2013, the company was preparing to relocate its production site. The challenge was significant: transferring a high-precision microtechnology operation while maintaining customer deliveries and progressively requalifying the production equipment.

Prefix supported the company in preparing and managing the project.

Our work

Prefix first carried out a feasibility study and supported the scoping of the relocation project, providing project management support from the early stages of the assignment.

The work continued with the development of a detailed schedule and risk register, giving the team a structured view of the project’s different stages, dependencies and areas requiring particular attention.

Prefix then supported project monitoring, the preparation of progress reports and the facilitation of reviews with the steering committee.
