Bilan360 — understanding and evolving your organisation, including what isn’t immediately visible

An effective approach… but incomplete
Until now, we approached our engagements with a fairly direct logic.
A combination of method, experience and intuition. An approach focused on the specific areas we had identified with the client — project management, internal organisation, role clarity… the scope was clear.
What was missing, however, was an overall perspective. A broader view of the organisation, including parameters that are not always immediately perceptible, yet decisive. And an understanding of the organisation’s ability to sustain and carry forward the outcomes of our work over time.
What doesn’t reveal itself at first glance
On several occasions, we supported organisations with their management tools, role clarity and team dynamics.
At the time, everything worked — we achieved greater clarity and more structure.
But a few months later, the tools were no longer really used or updated. Not because they weren’t relevant, but because they were not carried forward over time. What was missing was the capacity to make them live on.
With hindsight, we realised that what was lacking did not reveal itself immediately. More subtle elements were at play: ways of working, level of ownership, invisible frictions. Discreet dimensions, yet decisive in enabling what has been put in place to evolve and endure.
These are precisely the elements that most traditional assessment approaches tend to overlook.
A map to better understand and act
It was from these observations that we began to evolve our approach. We felt the need to broaden our perspective and gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics at play before intervening.
It was in this context that Bilan360 emerged.
Initially developed as an internal tool within the Prefix Incubator, it was then progressively refined over the course of multiple engagements. With a simple intention: to provide a clear framework for reading an organisation as a whole, without overlooking the essential elements.
Today, Bilan360 is structured around four complementary lenses:
- Strategic — what provides direction and structure to the organisation
- Operational — what enables concrete action on a day-to-day basis
- Human — what shapes collective dynamics
- Relational — what connects the organisation to its environment
Each lens assesses organisational maturity across different dimensions, helping to surface points of tension and focus efforts where they will have the greatest impact.
Each dimension is directly linked to concrete levers for evolution — tools, rituals, training, workshops — enabling a natural transition from understanding to action.
And in your organisation?
Bilan360 is now a fully-fledged tool that we use to bring clarity, structure conversations and guide organisational development.
It provides a global perspective, makes often implicit dimensions visible, and helps to better understand what enables — or prevents — an organisation from evolving over time.
If you are curious to see where your organisation stands, or simply wish to explore this approach, we would be delighted to discuss it with you.
