CONTEXT

Colibrys was founded in 2001 as a spin-off of the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM), specializing in the manufacture of high-precision sensors. In 2013, the company moved its infrastructure to a new site and was integrated into the Safran Group. In 2022, Colibrys became Safran Sensing Technologies Switzerland.

Moving a production site that manufactures high-precision microtechnology products while ensuring continuous delivery to customers is a high-risk, high-stakes project. It has a fundamental impact on all the personnel but also requires a long and meticulous requalification of the production line until the quality of the pre-move products is restored.

ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Feasibility study and framing of the relocation project.
2. Establishment of a detailed schedule and risk register.
3. Project monitoring, progress reporting and facilitating reviews with the steering committee.
