Bilan360, training and mentoring to develop project management practices.

Context

Nutriswiss is a Swiss company specialising in the processing of oils and fats for the food industry.

The company wanted to better understand its level of maturity in project and portfolio management, and then develop the practices of its management team and project managers.

Our work

Prefix began with a Bilan360 to assess the organisation’s maturity in project and portfolio management.

Based on this assessment, the management team took part in Circular Project Management training. The training also covered Microsoft Project to support project planning and monitoring.

The collaboration then continued through mentoring, supporting managers as they developed their practices and worked through real situations arising across their projects.

The iterative nature of projects in the food environment leads to special demands in project management. We made an online assessment of the maturity level of our project portfolio and project management proficiency and realized that we need to raise the bar.

The management team of our business unit was trained in Circular Project Management. The mix of theory and exercises allow an immediate application of the learnt topics into real projects. I would like to highlight especially the last training day that proved to be of big value for us, as practically all participants chose live projects in our organization for their personal work.
